I've been heads-down building Focuser for over a year and a half. No social media, no audience, no public updates. Just code, decisions, and the occasional moment of clarity that immediately revealed the next problem to solve.
That changes today.
I posted my first build in public post on Indie Hackers this morning. It covers how Focuser started, what it's become, and where it's going — including the Kickstarter campaign I'm preparing to fund the remaining development work. If you want the full story, it's at https://www.indiehackers.com/post/i-got-let-go-spent-18-months-building-a-productivity-app-and-now-im-taking-it-to-kickstarter-94c3e0cbe6.
From here, this blog is where the details live. The decisions behind each feature, the mistakes worth documenting, the Kickstarter journey as it unfolds. Building Focuser has been the most challenging thing I've done professionally. It seems worth sharing.
